Designed by the renowned architecture firm of McKim, Mead and White and constructed in 1888, 110 Fifth Avenue is a 170,000 square foot, 11 story office building located in the heart of New York City’s Flatiron District. It was originally built to house publishing operations, and was ultimately acquired by the New York Times Company, which purchased the building for its magazine group. In 1996, the New York Times Company decided to sell the building and the sole tenant for all of the office space announced plans to relocate to midtown. The new owner would assume a huge leasing risk in an unproven sub-market but would own the crown jewel of the district.  Next
